I'm just a 20-something, mother to a spoiled dog investing in her passion. I come from the San Francisco Bay Area, but I currently reside in Austin, TX. Since moving here in 2020, I've been indulging in Texas BBQ, craft beer and all of the best tacos. When I'm not in my kitchen, you can find me at spin class, at the airport or checking out all that Austin has to offer.

I decided to create L's Kitchen Counter after a very difficult year when I realized that life is too short to let the fear of failure dictate my life. I wanted to start taking risks and put myself out there in hopes that people would positively respond to the honesty I'm bringing to the table.

I'm very passionate that recipe sites shouldn't have a long, drawn out story with a million pictures, cluttered with ads that take forever to load. *Frustration* My promise to you is that my pictures won't be perfect, there will be a spelling error (or two) but I'll do my best to provide a realistic, non-highly stylized virtual cookbook. Here, the pages will be filled with flavorful dishes that I'm sure you'll want to serve up on your kitchen counter as well.
